Morning Chocolate Packager

Job Type: Part-Time Contract

Contract Period: September–December

Schedule: 4–5 days per week, approximately 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Location: 3530 Mainway, Burlington

We’re looking for a reliable, energetic Morning Chocolate Packager to join our family team for our busy holiday season!

In this role, you’ll help package all of the delicious chocolate and baked goods we make in-house. You’ll be responsible for boxing, bagging, bowing, organizing, and preparing our products so they are ready for our customers.

We are a team of positive, hardworking individuals who like to have fun while getting the job done. We’re looking for someone with a great work ethic, excellent attention to detail, good hand coordination, and the ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Package chocolate, baked goods, and other delicious products in a fast-paced production environment.
- Box, bag, wrap, and add bows/ribbons to finished products.
- Ensure products are packaged neatly, accurately, and consistently.
- Organize packaged products and maintain an efficient production area.
- Assist with general kitchen production and other duties as needed.
- Clean, sanitize, restock, and maintain work areas throughout the shift.
- Complete dishwashing and other kitchen cleaning duties.
- Follow all food safety, health, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Be a positive and supportive member of our team.

- Is comfortable being on their feet for the duration of the shift.
- Is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to move quickly and safely in a busy kitchen environment.
- Good coordination and dexterity for detailed packaging work.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy production periods.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, restaurant, food production, or foodservice environment is an asset.
- Previous packaging or production experience is an asset.
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to follow procedures, and production instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with measurements, timing, and presentation.
- Comfortable working within a tight production schedule.
- Reliable and punctual.

Schedule
- Part time, 4–5 days per week
- Approximately 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Seasonal contract running September through December
- Schedule may vary based on production needs and changing business demands.
- Flexibility during our busy holiday season is appreciated.
