Multi-Skilled Labourer – Excavation & Property Services

Go Lenyk Inc. is looking for a reliable, hardworking Multi-Skilled Labourer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is mechanically inclined, and is comfortable performing a variety of tasks rather than doing the same job every day.

Responsibilities

● Assist with excavation, grading, drainage and general construction projects

● Perform manual labour using shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows and various hand/power tools

● Assist equipment operators and crews on job sites

● Operate heavy equipment when required and qualified

● Drive company trucks and tow equipment/trailers

● Safely hook up, tow and back up trucks with trailers

● Load, unload and secure tools, materials and equipment

● Wash and maintain trucks, trailers and heavy equipment

● Perform basic equipment and property maintenance

● Maintain a clean and organized shop and yard

● Pick up materials, parts and supplies and complete job-related errands

● Assist with snow removal and other seasonal work when required

● Perform other general labour and maintenance duties as needed

Qualifications

● Valid driver’s licence required





● Experience driving trucks and towing/backing up trailers required

● Experience with excavators, skid steers, loaders or other heavy equipment is a strong asset

● Comfortable using hand and power tools

● Physically fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work

● Dependable, punctual and willing to take initiative

● Able to follow instructions and work safely

● Able to work independently as well as part of a team

● Versatile with hours and available for overtime when required

● Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is versatile and willing to do whatever the job requires. The successful candidate will understand that this is not strictly an equipment-operator position. Some days may involve operating equipment, while others may involve shovelling, sweeping, cleaning equipment, organizing the shop, hauling materials or assisting other crew members.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
