Cross Country Canada Supplies and Rentals is growing and has an exciting new opportunity for a NDE Technician. This is a fast-paced role under the direction of the Director of Safety/QC, responsible for performing Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) inspections while supporting the company’s Health & Safety and Quality Control programs. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will have NDE experience or be CGSB certified in MT and/or UT, a strong commitment to safety, quality, and the ability to accurately complete documentation. Duties and responsibilities

- Perform Non-Destructive Examination inspections, including Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Visual Testing (VT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on various equipment, components, and materials in various locations on various types of equipment to CGSB and SNT-TC-1A Standards
- Conduct inspections in accordance with documented procedures, standards, specifications, and client requirements
- Accurately interpret and document inspection results and identify indications requiring further evaluation or repair
- Complete NDE reports, inspection records, photographs, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure NDE equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of equipment calibrations,



inspections, certifications, and maintenance
- Ensure NDE activities are completed in accordance with applicable company procedures and industry standards
- Communicate inspection findings and deficiencies to the appropriate personnel
- Work with shop and field personnel to support quality requirements and resolve inspection-related concerns
- Travel to client and job sites as required to perform examinations
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable NDE methods, standards, procedures, and industry practices
- Support the development and review of NDE procedures and documentation as required
- Assist Health & Safety in matters such as incident reporting, claims management, orientations and training, monthly inspections, safety initiatives, safety meetings and administration

Qualifications

- Must possess 2-3 years of hands-on NDE experience in one or all Non-Destructive Testing methods (MT, VT, UT)
- Strong technical knowledge with proficiency in the use and maintenance of NDE equipment
- Current certifications in applicable NDE techniques (e.g., MT, VT and/or UT) are considered an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 products
- Able to quickly learn new software programs
- Strong time management skills




- Basic understanding of safety standards and guidelines in industrial environments
- Incident investigation training/experience is an asset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for working effectively with team members and in-field with clients
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required

Working conditions

- · Physical ability to work outdoors, indoors and in industrial environments
- Travel to other locations will be required
- Able to work independently and within a team workplace
- Hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunch
- Subject to deadlines or other requirements, overtime may be required

Physical requirements

- Physical requirements necessary include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, and working on our around heavy equipment throughout an 8-hour+ workday
- Must be able to occasionally lift or exert force of up to 40 pounds
