Position Overview
iodine Indian Cuisine is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen General Helper / Dishwasher to support our daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
Assist with basic food preparation as directed by kitchen staff.
Support kitchen staff during preparation and service.
Assist with receiving, storage, and organization of food and supplies.
Remove garbage and maintain waste areas.
Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties.
Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
Perform other reasonable kitchen duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an asset but not required.
Ability to work in a quick-paced kitchen workplace.
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift/move supplies safely.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Solid attention to cleanliness and organization.
