Job Summary

Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Greenhouse Workers to support daily greenhouse operations. The role involves planting cultivating harvesting packing and maintaining crops while following workplace health safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Plant transplant water and maintain greenhouse crops.
Monitor plants for pests diseases and overall growth.
Prune trim stake and provide general plant care as required.
Harvest crops according to quality and production requirements.
Sort grade weigh label and pack harvested produce.
Prepare soil growing media containers and planting areas.




Maintain clean and organized greenhouse work areas.
Assist with loading unloading and movement of plants and materials.
Operate basic greenhouse tools and equipment safely.
Follow instructions production schedules and health and safety procedures.

Requirements
Previous greenhouse farm horticulture or agricultural experience is an asset.
No formal degree required.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work for extended periods.
Ability to stand bend lift and work in warm and humid greenhouse conditions.
Reliable punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to work adaptable schedule including weekends and seasonal peak periods.
Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
