POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for a Scrum Master motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to facilitate Scrum rituals and remove impediments in order to maximize team effectiveness; coach the team, the Product Owner and the organization on Agile practices; foster self-organization and continuous improvement; and manage dependencies and the transparency of progress with stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate Scrum rituals: planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
Remove impediments and shield the team from external disruptions.
Coach the team, the Product Owner and the organization on Agile practices.
Support product backlog management and the clarity of items to be delivered.
Foster self-organization, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Track team indicators (velocity, burndown, flow) and make progress visible.
Manage dependencies with other teams and facilitate exchanges with stakeholders.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in information technology
Eight (08) to fifteen (15) years of experience as a Scrum Master.




Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, Secure, Nexus.
Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.
Hold one of the following certifications: CSP-SM, PSM II, A-CSM, Secure Advanced Scrum Master (ASM), ICAgile Certified Expert (ICE-AC)
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
