As a vital member of the Recreation Division, you'll need a Grade 12 diploma and current lifeguard certifications, including the LSS Instructor Certificate. Your responsibilities include planning aquatic programs, supervising patrons, and maintaining safety protocols.

Excellent organizational and communication skills are key as you provide leadership to student staff and respond effectively to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
Instruct and assist in planning aquatic programs
Oversee patron safety during aquatic activities
Maintain accurate records and reports on programs
Guide student staff in training and orientation
Conduct light cleaning duties as needed

Requirements:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Current LSS Swim for Life Certificate
Must possess or obtain L.S.S. Instructor Certificate
Current NL Pool Certificate
