POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for a cloud architect motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to design and evolve the architecture of cloud settings, define standards, patterns and landing zones, oversee the migration and modernization of solutions, optimize cost, security and resilience, and act as an advisor to the teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design target cloud architectures: landing zones, networks and services.
Define cloud adoption standards, design patterns and principles.
Oversee migration, modernization and hybrid strategies for solutions.
Embed security, compliance, resilience and recovery requirements.
Optimize the cost, capacity and performance of cloud environments.
Produce architecture documents, specifications and infrastructure-as-code templates.
Collaborate with enterprise, solution, security and network architects.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in information technology.
Minimum five (05) years of experience as a Cloud Architect.
Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.




Hold one of the following certifications: AZ-305, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
Hold one of the following certifications (an asset): TOGAF, AZ-104, SC-100.
Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
