The Clinic Manager leads the implementation and communication of new initiatives and programs to staff and physicians. Additionally, they collaborate with physicians, patients, clients, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality patient care.JOB DIMENSIONSStaff: Medical and Non-Medical staffFinancial: Responsible for the finances of the clinic, specifically clinic labor, clinic supplies both medical and office, and EBITDA.Other: Responsible for training, coaching and direct supervision of medical and non- medical clinic support staff.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIESClinic Management and OversightAchieving the performance goals including, but not limited to patient retention, patient satisfaction, patient count, controllable expenses, and operational targets.Responsible for patient,



physician and staff engagement.Ensures that company policies, processes and procedures are adhered toEnsures optimal levels of medical and office suppliesEnsures clinic equipment is well maintainedEnsures that funds generated by the clinic are accurately accounted for on a daily basisEnsures standards of cleanliness and safety are maintainedResponsible for handling patient concerns in an effective manner in accordance with our customer service standardsCommunicates and executes on strategic initiatives affecting clinic operations including the ongoing development of a customer service culture, communication, core purpose and core values with staff and physicians.Liaises with the Regional Operations Manager and other Clinic support team members regarding clinic profiles and changesEnsures all operational reporting and metrics are completed in a timely mannerEnsuresthe EMR is protected and safeguarded according to organizational policyManages clinic staffing levels for adherence to the staffing modelResponsible for all aspects of performance management, performance reviews and progressive disciplineResponsible for hiring both medical & non-medical staff as requiredCommunicates Health & Safety initiatives in the clinic to ensure compliance with company policiesEMR trainer for new physiciansPerforms other duties as assignedBusiness DevelopmentSupports and executes on business development programs and initiativesSupports the growth of the clinicParticipates in and supports community involvement and perception of the Medicentres brandOrganizational LeadershipExemplifies the organizations core values and ensure staff are aware of organization's core purpose and core values and are performing to these standards on an ongoing basisLeads by example and demonstrates a hands on approach in identifying and responding to issues in a timely mannerKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE5-7 years clinic experience3 years management experience, preferably in a health care clinicCustomer service focus with strong communication skillsDetail oriented with exceptional problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to be adaptable and flexibleDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teamsAbility to handle confidential information in compliance with the Health Information Act guidelinesCONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENTAbility to work versatile shifts including evenings and weekends. Fast paced environment, where ability to manage day to day operations of the clinic are essential. Must be able to adjust their schedule accordingly to work evenings and weekends to ensure exceptional customer service culture is observed on all shifts.
