We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Welding Instructor to join our agile educational team. In this role, you will inspire and guide students through hands-on welding training, helping them develop essential skills for their careers. Your expertise will empower learners to master various welding techniques, safety protocols, and industry standards in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom instruction on welding fundamentals, safety procedures, and industry best practices
- Supervise students during practical welding exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety compliance
- Develop lesson plans and training materials that align with curriculum standards and industry requirements
- Provide constructive feedback to students to foster skill development and confidence
- Monitor student progress through assessments and hands-on evaluations
- Maintain a safe learning setting by enforcing safety regulations and proper equipment handling
- Keep track record of inventory.
- Assist with any small- medium scale ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve instructional methods and course content
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding, with strong technical skills across various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, FCAW)
- CWB tickets are required
- Red Seal or COQ is preferred
- Prior classroom experience or teaching background is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts in an understandable manner
- Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices within the welding industry
- Certification or licensing in welding or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- A positive attitude with a passion for education and skill sharing
