We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our automotive team! Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and determine their parts needs through active listening and effective communication.
- Assist customers in locating and selecting automotive parts, accessories, and related products using POS systems and inventory databases.
- Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash and credit payments, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain organized stock levels, manage order fulfillment, and update inventory records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar software.
- Provide expert advice on automotive repair parts, maintenance procedures, and compatible accessories to enhance customer experience.




- Collaborate with sales management to develop marketing strategies that promote parts sales and customer engagement.
- Ensure phone etiquette standards are upheld when answering inquiries, scheduling pickups, or providing technical support.
- Support the dealership’s commitment to excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

- Prior dealership experience or retail sales background preferred; familiarity with automotive parts is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and inventory management tools such as CMMS.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, parts cataloging, and order fulfillment procedures.
- Experience with cashiering, cash handling, and phone etiquette to ensure smooth transactions and customer interactions.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills along with marketing acumen to promote products effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail in record keeping and maintenance tasks.
