Party Performer Dream Parties NL Overview Dream Parties NL is looking for energetic, reliable and engaging Cast Members to bring beloved characters to life at children’s parties, community events, festivals and special performances. Most gigs take place throughout the St. John’s Metro region and Avalon Peninsula, with occasional travel across Newfoundland for festivals and larger events. Gigs typically range from 30 minutes to 2 hours and may include private parties, character visits, public events and performances.

Responsibilities Portray princesses, heroes, villains and other beloved characters Lead games, dancing, singalongs, character training and themed activities Stay in character while interacting with children and families Perform scripted and improvised entertainment Adapt performances to different ages, personalities, group sizes and environments Pose for photos and help create memorable moments for guests Work alongside fellow Cast Members and Party Attendants Arrive punctual, prepared and performance-ready Care for costumes, wigs and company property Maintain a warm, professional and enthusiastic presence throughout every gig What We’re Looking For Confident,



expressive and outgoing performers Strong singing ability is preferred, but not required Theatre, music, dance, childcare, education or entertainment experience is an asset Comfortable engaging with and performing for young children Strong communication and improvisation skills Dependable, punctual and able to learn character material Comfortable wearing costumes, wigs and character makeup Able to maintain character and energy throughout a gig Weekend and evening availability Willingness to travel for select gigs and events Previous character-performing experience is not required. Pay: From $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 8.0 per week
