Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to an elderly couple in their home. This vital role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting overall well-being. Responsibilities

- This position requires the incumbent to speak Punjabi.
- Provide comprehensive personal care including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding and grooming.
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication activities.
- Prepare nutritious meals (Punjabi-style), tailored to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper food safety standards are maintained.
- Provide support with personal hygiene tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and clean living workplace.
- Monitor health status by observing symptoms,



reporting changes promptly, and coordinating with healthcare professionals as needed.
- Offer supervision and monitoring for impacted individuals (dementia) when they are home alone.

Experience

- Prior experience in working with individuals with dementia.
- Familiarity with dementia care strategies and managing patients with complex health needs.
- Prior experience in working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice care or home care environments is highly desirable.
- Proven caregiving experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Experience handling medication administration, patient care routines, and safety protocols in a home or institutional setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures to maintain hygiene standards within the living space.
- Strong communication skills coupled with patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to caregiving responsibilities.
