Maven Lane seeks a dedicated Support Worker to enrich our after-school programming experience for children. This part time role spans weekdays, focusing on personalized care and development from 2 PM to 4 PM.
The Support Worker will engage with children using appropriate life skills and educational methods. You’ll work closely with program managers and educators to create an inclusive atmosphere. Being adaptable to individual children's needs, you will assess development regularly and foster open communication with families, ensuring every child receives specific attention aligned with their unique goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate engaging and inclusive after-school activities
• Monitor and record children's development and needs




• Partner with families to support child success
• Follow licensing requirements and organizational policies
• Participate in essential team planning sessions
Requirements:
• BC ECEA Certificate required
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to various situations
• Strong collaborative skills with educators and families
• Knowledge of child development and psychology
