We are currently seeking a Resident Manager to live and work at our property in Peterborough. This position would require you to live on-site and work four weekdays each week, every second weekend and on-call some evenings. including appliances, floors, walls, windows, kitchens, washrooms, and balconies, ensuring they are move-in readyDust fire hose cabinets, bells and elevator tracks to minimize excess debrisMonitor and clean of garbage chutes, garbage and recycling roomsCollection of garbage and recycling bins in coordination with the city waste scheduleKnowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS)Conduct yard maintenance, including picking up loose garbage around the exterior of the property, removing snow and ice, salting entrances, walkways, and rooftop walkwaysProperty Maintenance:Assist residents how to complete maintenance requests through the proper channelsDaily walkthroughs of each floor, stairwell, and common areas fixing minor deficienciesReport reliable deficiencies related to curb appeal or safety hazards to the direct supervisor for further actionAssist the supervisor in HVAC monitoring, troubleshooting minor electrical, plumbing, boiler & chiller maintenanceAssist the supervisor with scheduling and overseeing repair activities of tradesmen and contractors as requiredQualifications:Previous or similar property management experience an assetStrong customer service skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer and keyboarding skillsAbility to perform general cleaning duties, and minor maintenance repairsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to push and move objects exceeding 50 lbs.
