We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders for medications and supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including proper storage and handling of medications.
- Support medication administration processes, including preparing medication for administration to patients.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and assist in patient care activities.




- Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes through effective medication management.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a Community Pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
- Ability to administer medications safely under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
