Job Summary

In this energetic role, you will assist experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Responsibilities

- Support lead plumbers by preparing materials and tools needed for plumbing tasks.
- Load, unload and transport construction materials
- Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
- Perform routine maintenance work
- Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
- Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges




- Help with the installation, the assembly, and repairs to equipment
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment

Requirements

- Experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and perform basic math calculations.
- Strong interest in developing skills related to HVAC systems, carpentry, welding, and maintenance.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques.
- Prior experience with blueprint reading or schematics is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
