Protec Dental Laboratories is a growing full-service dental laboratory located in Olympic Village area. We are seeking a energetic individual to join our team as a Polisher in our Orthodontics Department, this is an entry-level position. The ideal candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills, a natural curiosity and willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as a team player and independently.

A member of the polishing department will assist Dental Technicians in the fabrication of orthodontic appliances. Specifically, they will be polishing the appliances using various abrasives and working on a dental lathe. The ideal candidate will have valuable hand-eye coordination and be comfortable working with their hands.

The Polisher will report to the Orthodontic Lab Manager.

What You Will Be Doing

- Polishing orthodontic appliances.
- Organizing appliances into their matching pan.
- Cleaning orthodontic appliances.
- Prioritizing cases according to shipping deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need





- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Experience working with their hands.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work setting.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- No dental experience required.

Job Type

- Full-time Monday to Friday, during business hours (7:00AM to 5:00PM).

Pay: $23.65 per hour
