We are currently expanding our team in the Ottawa area and we are looking for warm, reliable, and experienced Newborn Care Providers to support families during the early weeks and months of parenthood.

We welcome qualified RNs, RPNs, LPNs, Postpartum Doulas, Night Nannies, Newborn Care Specialists, Midwives, and other professionals with strong recent newborn-care experience.

The role may include overnight newborn care, feeding, diapering, soothing, safe sleep support, and guidance for new parents, with a focus on helping families feel confident and supported at home.

Contract Rate: $25-$40 per hour, with rates commensurate with qualifications, training, and level of newborn-care experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide attentive overnight newborn care, including feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and monitoring
- Support the establishment of safe, developmentally appropriate sleep routines
- Offer education, reassurance, and emotional guidance to parents during the postpartum period
- Monitor infant health and escalate any concerns in a timely manner
- Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and respect within client homes at all times
- Adhere to current best practices in newborn care and infant safe sleep

General Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of recent newborn-care experience within the last 3 years




- Healthcare, doula, NCS, or related newborn-care credentials
- Valid CPR + C certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada (We do not provide sponsorship)
- Professional references
- Availability for overnight shifts and flexibility based on family needs
