Position Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager to own and improve the internal platforms and AI products that power our businesses. Our teams rely on tools we build ourselves, and we are expanding our AI-powered software and other internal products. You will be the bridge between the people who use these products every day and the IT team that builds them.

You will work closely with colleagues across our business units and departments to understand how they work, uncover their real needs and pain points, and turn them into clear requirements, prototypes and priorities. You will then partner with engineers to deliver, test and launch improvements, and keep refining our products based on feedback and data. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, ideal for someone who enjoys making complex workflows simpler and turning AI capabilities into practical tools people actually use.

Responsibilities

1. Product planning and requirements analysis

- Develop a deep understanding of the workflows and actual needs of the company's business lines.
- Conduct requirements interviews with management, business teams and end users.
- Assess requirements for validity, necessity and priority.
- Define product feature plans, phase goals and release plans.
- Turn business problems into transparent, actionable product solutions.

2. Product design and documentation

- Independently design user flows, feature logic, business rules and information architecture.
- Write PRDs, user stories, feature specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Specify each feature's users, triggers, data sources, permissions, edge cases and dependencies on other features.
- Keep product documentation,



requirement records and version history up to date.

3. AI-assisted prototyping and UI design

- Work proficiently with Figma and AI product design tools.
- Build prototypes quickly using AI tools, existing templates, component libraries or design frameworks.
- Produce wireframes, high-fidelity UI mockups or clickable front-end prototypes.
- We welcome reasonable use of existing templates, front-end component libraries and AI-generated designs; not every page needs to be designed from scratch.
- What matters most is the ability to express product logic accurately and quickly produce mockups that can be used for discussion, testing and development.

4. Project delivery and cross-functional collaboration

- Align goals, scope and priorities with business owners.
- Communicate requirements and acceptance criteria to design and engineering teams.
- Track development progress and identify and remove blockers.
- Manage the backlog, release plans, task status and delivery dates.
- Keep business, product design and technical implementation aligned.

5. Testing, acceptance and launch

- Proactively test features end to end after delivery.
- Reproduce and analyze issues along real user journeys.
- Distinguish between technical bugs, product logic issues, user errors and UI guidance issues.
- Run UAT, release acceptance, pre-launch checks and post-launch issue follow-up.
- Make sure every issue is fixed, retested and closed.

6. User feedback and product improvement

- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, internal staff and pilot users.




- Observe user behaviour and identify usability obstacles.
- Propose improvements based on feedback, data and business value.
- Track feature adoption and actual impact after launch.
- Regularly report product issues, improvement proposals and next-phase priorities.

Requirements

Must have

- Solid product management experience, including owning the full cycle from requirements analysis to launch.
- Strong business understanding, logical analysis and requirements breakdown skills.
- Able to independently produce product flows, feature logic, PRDs, prototypes and acceptance criteria.
- Familiar with Figma, project management tools and at least one AI-assisted product design tool.
- Able to use AI tools, templates and component libraries to quickly produce UI mockups or front-end prototypes.
- Basic front-end and technical knowledge; able to communicate effectively with developers.
- Proactive in identifying problems, analyzing them and driving them to resolution.
- Good time management and delivery mindset; accountable for committed timelines and results.
- Able to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize according to company priorities.

Nice to have

- Experience with AI, SaaS, EdTech, education or academic management systems, or enterprise digitalization products.
- Experience taking a product from 0 to 1 and launching it.
- Experience with websites, admin back-ends, workflow systems or B2B platforms.
- Able to build interactive prototypes or basic front-end demos with AI tools.
- Startup experience; comfortable with fast change and cross-functional work.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Languages: Mandarin and English

Location: Toronto, Ontario (on-site)
