Tank Traders® is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our production operations in La Salle, MB, where our production operations began.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production, supporting a team of 10+ employees, maintaining safety and efficiency, and ensuring production targets are met. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time on the production floor, working directly with the team while also managing key administrative responsibilities.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with seasonal start-time adjustments from April to August. Current hours are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. High season Saturday rotational schedule if required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support a production team of 10+ employees
- Work directly alongside team members to ensure daily production targets are met
- Monitor production, inventory levels, and operational efficiency
- Identify and address equipment issues, process irregularities, and production concerns
- Manage employee performance, attendance, and workplace conduct.
- Track and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Complete payroll, inventory reporting, production planning, and other administrative duties
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and employee development
- Promote and enforce company Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Lead by example and maintain company standards, policies, and values
- Support preventative maintenance and general equipment upkeep as required

Qualifications:

- 3-5+ years of experience in a comparable leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience leading a team of 10 or more employees
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, physically demanding production environment
- Experience operating a forklift or other heavy equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Mechanical experience or experience with preventative maintenance is an asset
- Ability to regularly lift and move 20–40 lb propane tanks
