This is a 4‐month internship starting in January 2027.Overall, the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.The successful candidate will provide support to scrum‐teams for the automation of development of embedded system such as satellite payloads and other spacecraft.As our DevOps Engineering Student,



you will:ResponsibilitiesSupport continuous improvement of our delivery pipelines (CI/CD)Design, document, and build systems to automate development activitiesTroubleshooting of infrastructure‐related issuesPerform system administration tasks, such as configuration management, creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and supporting toolsManage the engineering tools and 3rd party IP (procurement, licensing, installation, upgrade, maintenance renewal, computing capacity planning, ...) for PCB design, FPGA, software, RF and SystemsExperience and skills requiredInterested candidates should be working towards a Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, computer) or computer science with three (3) years completed.Experience with version control software (GIT, SVN, ...)Some knowledge of automation software like JenkinsKnowledge of scripting languages like Python, BashSome programming experienceExperience with installing and configuring new software under windows & LinuxSystem administrationBilingual French and English (Contact with customers outside Québec).Experience with SQL DatabasesSome experience in Web development to provide development teams with GUI toolsKnowledge to build and deploy Virtual Machines (VMware, VSphere, VirtualBox)Comments/Special ConsiderationsSuccessful candidates must obtain and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).MDA is proud to provide accommodation(s) during the recruitment process.
