Jb Summary:

The Prject Supervisr is accuntable fr the successful implementatin and delivery f industry-specific wrkfrce develpment prgram(s) under PBLMT as part f the Cmmunity and Emplyer Partnerships (CEP) prgram designed t equip participants with the knwledge, skills, and practical experience required t pursue emplyment in specific pririty ccupatins. The grup-based full time prgram(s) include health and safety rientatin fr participants, essential and emplyability skills, Indigenus cmpetency, ccupatinal skills training, n-the-jb wrk experience with lcal emplyers (practicum), and jb search supprt.

The Prject Supervisr is respnsible fr achieving prject recruitment, training cmpletin, practicum placement, and emplyment utcme targets within established timelines. This psitin requires a highly results-riented prfessinal with established relatinships and netwrks with emplyers, industry partners, WrkBC Centres, and ther cmmunity referral surces. The incumbent must demnstrate a prven ability t recruit eligible participants within shrt prject timelines, develp and maintain emplyer partnerships, and secure quality practicum placements fr all participants cmpleting ccupatinal skills training.

Yur Rle:

Archway’s Prject Supervisr with the Prject-Based Labur Market Training Prgram(s) cntributes by:

- Initiating a referral prcess with WrkBC Centres and SASET fr selectin f participants t receive training.
- Develping and maintaining strng wrking relatinships with WrkBC Centres, Indigenus emplyment service prviders, cmmunity agencies, emplyers, industry assciatins, and ther referral partners t ensure a cntinuus pipeline f eligible participants and wrk placement pprtunities.
- Develping and distributing marketing materials t prmte the prject.
- Leading participant recruitment activities and ensuring the achievement f apprved participant intake targets within required prject timelines.
- Implementing targeted utreach and recruitment strategies t identify, assess, and enrll eligible participants frm pririty client grups.
- Mnitring recruitment results and practively adjusting recruitment strategies t address participant shrtfalls and ensuring prject targets are achieved.
- Prviding supprt, leadership, directin, and supervisin t staff
- Establishing and maintaining a netwrk f emplyers and industry partners cmmitted t prviding practicum placements, wrkplace expsure pprtunities, and emplyment pprtunities fr participants.
- Ensuring suitable practicum placements are secured fr participants prir t r upn cmpletin f ccupatinal skills training and that placement pprtunities align with training bjectives and emplyment utcmes.




- Cllabrating with emplyers t address placement challenges and maintaining sufficient practicum capacity t meet prject requirements.
- Prviding the Ministry with prject updates and any ther required dcumentatin by the required deliverable dates.
- Overseeing and managing the prgram budget efficiently, ensuring apprpriate allcatin f funds t meet Ministry-apprved funding.

Getting an Interview – yu will be cnsidered if yu have:

- A diplma r degree in a related discipline, r the equivalent cmbinatin f educatin, training, and experience in the emplyment/career develpment field.
- A minimum f tw years f experience in the supervisin f staff.
- Experience in managing a budget.
- Demnstrated experience recruiting participants fr emplyment, wrkfrce develpment, training, r cmmunity-based prgrams and cnsistently achieving enrllment targets.
- Demnstrated experience develping emplyer partnerships and securing wrk experience, practicum, internship, r emplyment pprtunities fr prgram participants.
- Experience in maintaining a netwrk f cntacts within the Fraser Valley wrkfrce develpment ecsystem, including emplyers, industry partners, WrkBC Centres, emplyment service prviders, and cmmunity rganizatins.
- Experience wrking with gvernment-funded emplyment and skills training prgrams is strngly preferred.
- A valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License.

- Ability t be highly gal-riented and accuntable, with a strng track recrd f meeting r exceeding prject deliverables and perfrmance targets.
- Strng verbal, written, and active listening cmmunicatin skills; able t cmmunicate clearly and respectfully with peple frm diverse backgrunds, cultures, and varying levels f English.
- Budgeting skills; able t manage a prgram budget(s) efficiently.
- Demnstrated ability t analyze financial data and prepare financial reprts, statements and prjectins.
- Strng rganizatinal and time management skills; ability t balance and manage cmpeting prjects and pririties.
- Strng skills with Micrsft Office 365, including Wrd, Excel, Outlk, and PwerPint t create reprts, budgets, presentatins, and cmmunicatin with staff and clleagues.
- Skills in managing perfrmance, setting gals, and creating autnmy and accuntability.
- Ability t wrk in a high-paced envirnment with demanding deadlines.
- Ability t interact with peple in challenging situatins.
- Ability t deal with crisis and cnflict situatins requiring de-escalatin skills.
