Job Overview The Quality Operator is a hands-on, floor-based role responsible for the frontline execution of quality standards at The Cup Store. Working directly on the production floor, this role acts as the primary support for the QC/CI Specialist by performing physical product testing, conducting preliminary print quality checks, and coordinating between the pre-press, print, and production teams. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, has a keen eye for detail, and wants to ensure our custom products meet our high brand standards before they reach the customer.

Key Responsibilities

Floor-Level Quality Execution

- Conduct physical testing of products (e.g., cup durability, seal integrity, and material checks) on the warehouse floor.




- Perform preliminary print quality checks at the start of and during production runs to ensure logo placement, color accuracy, and clarity.
- Act as the first point of contact for quality issues on the floor, escalating concerns to the QC/CI Specialist or Operations Manager immediately.
- Monitor production lines to ensure operators are following established quality checklists.

Coordination & Liaison

- Liaise between Pre-Press, Print Operators, and the QC/CI Specialist to ensure print proofs match the final product.
- Assist in the movement of samples and materials for testing and approval.
- Provide clear, real-time feedback to production staff regarding quality observations.

Administrative Support

- Accurately record inspection results, test data, and defect counts into digital logs (Google Sheets/Excel).
- Maintain organized records of product samples and testing documentation.
- Assist the QC/CI Specialist in updating standard work documents by providing feedback on how processes are actually functioning on the floor.

Qualifications

Required

- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
- Solid attention to detail—specifically the ability to spot subtle print or material defects.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and spending the majority of the shift on the warehouse floor.




- Basic computer literacy (ability to input data into Google Sheets/Excel).
- Strong communication skills; comfortable speaking with machine operators and production staff.
