Job Qualifications

Education The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a conveyancing role, but all applicants will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Legal Assistant Diploma or possess an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Experience + Skills

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a conveyancing role preferred.

- Proficiency with legal and office software, including Lawyer Done Deal, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Foxit, Land Titles and trust accounting software.
- Experience with document automation systems is considered an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues,



and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload, prioritize competing deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent client service through a client-focused approach.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, meet strict deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while adapting to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and process residential real estate purchase, sale, and mortgage documentation.
- Coordinate and schedule client appointments and meetings.
- Maintain and organize client files, including opening, updating, filing, and closing files.
- Respond to client inquiries and communicate professionally with clients and members of the public.
- Coordinate the flow of work between the responsible lawyer, clients, financial institutions and other law firms to ensure timely completion of transactions.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and related documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Provide proactive administrative and legal support to the lawyer's conveyancing practice.
- Perform administrative tasks, including time entry, billing preparation, and responding to information requests.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Pay: $43,006.42-$65,000.00 per year
