At Financial Design Team, we believe financial planning is personal. We’re a close-knit team of financial professionals associated with Sun Life Financial, serving professionals, business owners and families throughout Simcoe County and Muskoka.

We’re looking for a Receptionist who will help create that same experience from the very first hello.

Who You Are

You’re someone who naturally makes people feel comfortable and welcome. You’re personable, organized and dependable, with a strong eye for detail and a genuine desire to help.

You take pride in doing things well, communicate with confidence and professionalism, and understand that exceptional client service often comes down to the little things. You’re equally comfortable working independently and stepping in to support the team when needed.

As one of the first points of contact for our clients, you’ll play an significant role in creating the thoughtful, polished and personal experience we want every client to have.

Your Role

Welcoming & Reception

- Answer and direct incoming calls with warmth and professionalism.
- Welcome clients and visitors and help ensure they feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages and deliveries.

Client Service
- Assist with routine client service requests, including address and banking changes,



duplicate tax receipts and other administrative needs.
- Help make every client interaction feel seamless, professional and well cared for.

Administrative Support
- Scan, file and organize documents with accuracy and care.
- Enter and maintain accurate client information in Salesforce, our CRM system.
- Draft professional emails and correspondence.
- Create and update documents using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Use sound judgment and initiative to resolve day-to-day administrative needs.

Calendar & Appointment Coordination
- Manage our calendar system and coordinate schedules.
- Book and confirm client appointments for our advisors.
- Help prepare for client meetings, both in person and through Microsoft Teams.

Team Support
- Assist with special projects and administrative priorities as they arise.
- Support colleagues as needed and help maintain continuity when a team member is away.
- Bring a willingness to learn, adapt and contribute wherever you can make a difference.

What We’re Looking For
- A warm, polished and professional approach.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.




- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, high-quality work.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous administrative experience; experience in financial services or insurance is an asset.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM/contact management system is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort with technology, software and digital tools (Chatgbt, Canva)
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and requests while remaining calm and professional.
- Initiative, sound time management and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Pay: $41,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
