About Us

Toronto Athletic Gymnastics (TAG Performance Studio) is a rapidly growing gymnastics facility dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and inspiring environment for athletes of all ages. As we continue to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Recreational Coaches in Training (CITs). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in coaching and working with children to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and engaging environment.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

- Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children
- Friendly, personable, and a solid team player
- Eager to learn, grow, and develop coaching skills
- Comfortable using email and basic computer programs for attendance, communication, and scheduling
- Reliable, responsible, and professional
- Available to work evenings and weekends

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:

- Assist coaches in delivering gymnastics programs for children ages 18 months to 12 years
- Learn class management, lesson delivery, and safe spotting techniques under the guidance of experienced coaches
- Support athletes in developing gymnastics fundamentals in a positive and encouraging environment
- Assist with summer camps, school-break camps, special events, and gym activities
- Participate in team training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

- Interest in gymnastics, coaching, and working with children




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- No previous coaching experience required
- Foundations Introduction certification (an asset, but not required)
- NCCP certification (an asset, but not required)
- Standard First Aid and CPR certification (an asset, but not required)
- Competition 1 in WAG or Trampoline (an asset, but not required)
- English proficiency required
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

Schedule

- Monday to Friday evenings
- Weekends
- Additional hours may be available during camps, special events, and school breaks

Starting Pay: From $17.60/hour, with opportunities for wage increases based on training, certifications, experience, and performance.
