This seasonal position involves performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and grounds keeping tasks to ensure our facilities and property are clean, safe, and well‑maintained throughout the summer months.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance and repair tasks on the interior and exterior of the building.Assist with painting, light carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical work.Maintain grounds by mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, watering plants, and removing debris.Clean and maintain outdoor areas, walkways,



and common spaces.Inspect facilities for safety hazards or maintenance needs and report issues promptly.Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and responsibly.Follow all safety procedures and organizational policies.QualificationsMust be 18-30 years old as per CSJ requirements.Previous maintenance, custodial, or landscaping experience preferred but not required.Ability to perform physical labor, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Basic understanding of hand and power tools.Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Good communication and problem‑solving skills.Able to work in Canada.Work ScheduleFull‑time typically 8am to 4pm Monday-Friday.Seasonal position: June-August.Program EligibilityThis position is funded in part through the Government of Canada’s Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program.
