As an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Inspector, you'll take charge of implementing and maintaining a top-tier quality program in a site-based role. This includes coordinating field inspections and surveillances while ensuring that quality standards are consistently met on-site.You will manage documents and procedures, validate quality processes, and support the Project QA/QC Manager in implementing effective quality procedures. Your role will also involve continuously seeking innovative solutions that can be applied directly to projects, driving efficiency and improving overall performance.Join our team and make a significant impact in a agile, site-based environment where your expertise and problem-solving skills will be valued.Essential ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and walkdown electrical instrumentation systems upon completion to verify compliance with codes, regulations, and engineered designCoordinate third party testing inspections and provide status updatePerform inspections during construction, and prepare reportsIdentify process improvementsReview, understand and implement Inspection & Test PlansCommunicate with vendor representatives and quality assurance representatives upcoming hold and witness pointsReport on quality issues and document appropriately.Provide training on project requirements as they relate to background of expertiseUnderstand and interpret applicable contract documents, codes of construction and regulatory standardsQualificationsElectrical Instrumentation trade certification or Electrical Instrumentation EngineeringTechnology DiplomaMinimum 4 yrs + related experienceProven ability to manage quality procedures and processesAbility to perform inspections in accordance with approved ITP's and code requirementsAbility to interpret engineering specifications, design drawings, and installation detailsAbility to interpret Canadian Electrical Code, CECStrong communication skills,
