We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing effective treatment programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, providing essential rehabilitative services to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and those requiring acute care.
The Physiotherapist will collaborate with clinic staff to deliver high-quality patient care aligned with best practices and medical standards.
This role is as an independent contractor and you will be able to set your own hours and availability. You will work for the clinic on a split but will draw from the clientele of 2 chiropractors and 2 massage therapists.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management techniques, and post-treatment exercises.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes,
and medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
- Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy techniques and medical terminology to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Assist in managing acute care cases and pediatric patients as needed.
Experience
- Experience working in acute care settings or pediatrics is a plus.
- Proven track record in patient care with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages and backgrounds. This role requires a professional committed to delivering compassionate patient care while maintaining a high level of clinical expertise. Candidates should possess relevant experience in hospital environments, acute care, or pediatrics, along with a thorough understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
