Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and legal regulations
- Provide expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Review patient profiles for allergies, contraindications, and appropriate dosages to ensure safe medication administration
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs
- Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients on proper medication storage, adherence,



and health management strategies
- Stay current with new pharmaceutical developments, medical terminology, and industry best practices to enhance patient care
- Minor Ailment prescribing

Skills

- Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in hospital or acute care settings
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
- Experience caring for pediatric patients and managing complex medication regimens in acute environments
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
- Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Injection certified
