Job Overview A reputable Endoscopy Clinic in Kingston is seeking an enthusiastic part-time (potentially full-time in the future) Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in a challenging, rapid-paced environment at our Kingston locations. You will provide nursing care to patients and their families in the operating room and GI Recovery area.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for assisting the physician in the operating room and

managing patient care during pre-procedure and post-procedure phases for the patients undergoing diagnostic or screening endoscopies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records of the patient.
- Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients’ condition.

Qualifications:

- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

- BLS/CPR Required
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.




- Committed to professional development and strong knowledge of policy and practice

Standards.

Experience:

A minimum of two years of recent acute care experience is required

Experience in caring for patients receiving procedural sedation

Excellent IV skills.

Experience in endoscopic clinic will be an asset.
