At any one time approximately 50-60 projects are being conducted in various stages and areas of research. Our offices are in the Halifax Infirmary. In addition to office-based work on databases and project management, research activities take place within our outpatient clinics, procedure labs, inpatient areas, and pre-assessment clinics. There is ongoing collaboration between our entire research team, Cardiologists, and various health service departments such as Pharmacy, Diagnostic Imaging and Blood Collection. The Research Assistant reports directly to the Research Manager and is under the direction of the Research Coordinator(s) to facilitate the execution of research studies and clinical trial protocols. This position provides ongoing training and educational opportunities as it relates to research and Cardiology and offers the prospect for advancement.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a Health Science and/or Science related field,
