Position: Retail Sales Associate

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associates to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, has a genuine interest in beauty and hair care, and is motivated to provide an exceptional in-store experience. This role involves customer service, sales support, inventory handling, and general store operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist customers in selecting products that best suit their needs
- Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and product knowledge
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer questions and provide accurate information about products and services
- Escort customers to product displays, shelves, and counters as needed
- Deliver an outstanding customer service experience at all times
- Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records
- Process payments by totalling purchases and handling cash, debit, credit, and other approved payment methods
- Notify management promptly of any potential security concerns
- Support inventory management by receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise




- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and work area
- Keep customers informed about promotions, preferred customer sales, and new merchandise
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of hair types, especially 3A–4C textures, and related products

Education & Experience

- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 year of retail experience preferred (training provided)

Pay & schedule:

- $17.60/hour
- Full time: 30–40 hours/week
- Weekday, evening, and weekend availability
- Flexible retail hours.
