Role: RPA UiPath developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Experience: 8+ Years

Employment: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and implement RPA processes using UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Assistant).
- Create robust, scalable workflows following best practices and coding standards.
- Integrate automation with APIs, databases, and third‐party applications as required.
- Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to analyse automation opportunities.
- Prepare Process Definition Documents (PDD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), and technical specs.
- Recommend process optimization opportunities before automation.
- Deploy bots into UiPath Orchestrator and manage scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Provide post‐production support, handle incident resolution, and improve bot stability.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement enhancements for existing automations.
- Ensure RPA solutions adhere to architecture, security standards, and governance frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, reusability, and maintainability.
- Maintain proper documentation for all automations and system configurations.
- Work cross-functionally with QA, infra, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand‐ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).




- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Technical Skills:

- 6–8 years of experience in RPA development with minimum 4+ years in UiPath.
- Expertise in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, RE Framework, and Workflow Analyser.
- Strong understanding of Selectors, Orchestrator Queues, Triggers, Assets, and exception handling.
- Hands‐on experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON, XML, SQL, and VB/C#.
- Experience integrating UiPath with OCR engines (ABBYY, Document Understanding, or similar).
- Understanding of Power Automate and Workfusion is an advantage.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git / Azure DevOps).

Knowledge of infrastructure components:

- Bots, robots, virtual machines, attended/unattended setups Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred :

- UiPath Certifications (UiARD, UiRPA, or Advanced Developer Certification).
- Experience in BFSI, healthcare, retail, or large enterprise environments.
- Exposure to AI/ML-based automation, Process Mining, and Task Mining tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
