Rural Community Liaison

Lethbridge Family Services (LFS) is seeking a rural community liaison to join our team in Home Services! The rural community liaison is a resident of the area and supports the delivery of services through projects designated to increase community engagement, recruitment, and operations. The community liaison is engaged as needed to provide consultation, drive projects, and support leadership to achieve the mandate of LFS.

Rural community liaisons:
- identify opportunities to strengthen LFS’s presence in the rural areas and represent LFS at community events,
- promote employment opportunities and assist with local recruitment initiatives,
- participate in interviews, candidate introduction, or onboarding support when requested,
- gather information and provide recommendations related to rural services delivery,
- conduct local research and support performance quality improvement (PQI) activities, and
- maintain the remote office location and coordinate access to the office as required.

Qualifications:
- a degree or diploma in a health-related discipline, business administration, or communications (a combination of education and experience will be considered),
- a minimum of 5 years of experience in the health care field,
- experience in organizing community events or creating collaborative community relations,




- excellent organizational and administrative skills, and
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written.

All new employees of LFS must provide a police information check and vulnerable sector check dated not less than 90 days prior to the date of hire.
