Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Gas Technician role based in Etobicoke, ON. The Gas Technician will install, maintain, and repair gas-fired appliances and equipment, including furnaces, boilers, water heaters, and related piping and venting systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing diagnostics, troubleshooting system issues, completing routine inspections, and ensuring all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications. The role involves responding to service calls, preparing accurate documentation of work performed, communicating clearly with customers about findings and recommendations, and coordinating with team members to support efficient scheduling and job completion. The Gas Technician is expected to maintain tools and equipment in good working order, follow company safety policies, and contribute to a respectful, cooperative work environment.





NEED atleast 5 years of Experience.

Qualifications

- Relevant gas technician license or certification (e.g., G2 or equivalent), with a strong understanding of gas codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Hands-on experience installing, servicing, and repairing gas-fired equipment such as furnaces, boilers, unit heaters, and water heaters.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics, installation manuals, and service instructions.
- Solid troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and combustion-related issues in gas systems.
- Strong commitment to safety, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company and regulatory safety procedures.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, accessible language.
- Capability to work independently on-site, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing job priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Etobicoke, ON.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including lifting equipment, working in confined spaces, and standing or kneeling for extended periods.
- Previous experience in HVAC or gas fitting in residential or light commercial settings is an asset.
