Role: SAP SuccessFactors Architect

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (3 Days onsite every week)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Senior Consultant / Architect with strong hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors implementation, integration, solution architecture, and BAU/application support.

The primary focus is Employee Central, with exposure to Onboarding, Time Off, Performance & Goals Management, and Compensation. The role will handle L3 support, complex issue resolution, configuration, enhancements, quarterly releases, integration data support, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide functional L3/BAU support for SAP SuccessFactors, primarily Employee Central.
- Resolve complex incidents involving data issues, configuration defects, integration-related data errors, and process failures.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable functional fixes.
- Support Employee Central foundation objects, organizational structures, position management, employee data, workflows, business rules, MDF objects, event reasons, data models, and permissions.
- Support Time Off configuration, including absence types, time account types, accrual rules, holiday calendars, workflows, and eligibility rules.
- Support Onboarding, Performance & Goals Management, and planned Compensation processes and their dependencies with Employee Central.
- Deliver configuration changes, minor enhancements, data corrections, and change requests.
- Support quarterly SuccessFactors releases, including release impact assessment, regression testing, business readiness, post-release stabilization, and defect resolution.
- Manage role-based permissions, security controls, workflow maintenance, and certificate renewals where applicable.
- Provide functional support for integrations involving SAP Employee Central Payroll,



regional/third-party payroll, advantages, Finance, ERP, reporting, data warehouse, expense management, and identity/access management.
- Investigate failed interface records from a functional/data perspective and coordinate technical issues with integration experts or relevant technical teams.
- Support functional regression testing where Employee Central, payroll, benefits, or expense management processes are impacted.
- Participate in CAB and formal change governance, including impact assessments, implementation plans, and rollback considerations.
- Maintain accurate configuration, support, process, and integration documentation.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, regional stakeholders, AMS/support partners, SAP Support, solution architects, integration architects, enterprise architects, and platform owners.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior BAU analysts.

Required Qualifications

- 8–10 years of overall IT experience with significant SAP SuccessFactors implementation, integration, and solution architecture experience.
- Strong hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience in BAU, support, or application management environments.
- Deep functional expertise in Employee Central.
- Proven experience resolving L3-level tickets, performing RCA, and delivering permanent fixes for complex functional and data issues.
- Strong functional and technical expertise across SuccessFactors modules.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to design scalable HR transformation solutions.
- Ideally SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification plus at least one additional certification in Time Management, Onboarding, Compensation, or Performance & Goals.
- Alternative SuccessFactors certifications are considered with willingness to expand skills across other modules.
