Job Title

School Age Childcare Worker, September - June

Desirable Training and Experience

- Sound knowledge of the care and guidance needed to promote social and personal development of young children.

- Responsible Adult Certificate and First Aid
- Experience working with school aged children (ages 5-12)
- Sound knowledge of applicable policies, regulations and rules governing the work

performed. Compensation & Hours:

- September – June work term
- 20 hours per week
- Rate: $23.52 per hour
- Availability requirements:

o 7:30am-9:30am, 3-5pm, 2-6pm o Possible extra hours on qualified days o 3 split shifts per week (7:30am-9:30am, 3-5pm) Terms of Employment (for Permanent Positions Only):

Based on child’s enrolment in the program

Upon completion of probation

- Enrollment in Municipal Pension Plan
- Extended Health Benefits
- Vacation time
