This is a full-time position in a fast-paced, friendly workplace where you will work with our kitchen team team to provide a first-rate dining experience for our students, staff and other School guests.EMPLOYMENT TYPEFull-time. Shifts could be any of the seven days of the week: morning / afternoon / evening shifts. As our kitchen operates 7 days a week, we welcome candidates with flexible availability throughout the week.WAGE & BENEFITSOur full-time Prep Cook positions offer a wage of $25.71 per hour plus health and dental benefits after 3 months.We also offer professional development opportunities, supporting staff who are interested in pursuing Red Seal, WHMIS, and other culinary training. We are proud to offer a flexible work environmentand a nurturing, family-friendly workplace.JOB DUTIESComplete prep work for future scheduled meal servicesLiaise with the Executive Chef, the Food Services Manager, and Cooks on food ordersFollow proper sanitation practices while completing hot and cold food storage tasksAssist Cooks with returns from meal service and assist Kitchen Helpers with dishwashing during meal timesComplete general cleanup of kitchen equipment and prep areasWHAT YOU BRINGMust be legally entitled to work in Canada, preferably with 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen environmentCalm under pressure—skilled at multitasking, problem-solving, and keeping service running smoothlySolid knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and storage standards (FOODSAFE/WHMIS an asset)Strong communicator with great customer service and teamwork skillsIndependent and self-motivated,
