recording data on each current employee; maintaining and filing paperwork of terminated or exiting employeesOrganizing and managing new employee orientation and on-boarding programsMaintaining documentation of employee absences, bonuses, and personal timeAdministering the employee Group Benefit Plan including new hire set-up, employee record maintenance and status changesSupporting the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, assisting in shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, and performing background checksAssisting supervisors in annual performance management proceduresMonitoring vacation tracker for vacation and sick days and other absences of the employeesProcessing month-end, quarter-end and year end transactions related to Employer Health Tax and Worker compensation boards of multi-provincesSupporting other functions as assignedWork Experience Requirements / Skills1 to 2 years HR and Multi-Province Payroll related experiencePost-secondary education in human resources or related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent computer skills in Microsoft Office including ExcelAbility to communicate fluently in English and French is an assetEducational RequirementsPost-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration requiredThe Certified Human Resources Professional designation is an assetCompensationExpected Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 per year. Compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills and qualifications and falls within the expected range for this role.We use No AI in our recruitment process.
