Senior Functional Analyst, Ivalua

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Functional Analyst to own workstreams on Ivalua source-to-pay implementations: gathering requirements, configuring the platform, running test cycles, and getting clients ready for go-live. You'll work alongside Consultants and Team Leaders, but on your scope, you're the person the client calls.

The team sits within a specialist source-to-pay consultancy that advises on, implements, and supports cloud spend management platforms for enterprise procurement and finance teams across North America. Engagements run from design through sustainment, so you'll see the whole arc of a project, not just one phase of it.

This role fits someone who has configured Ivalua for real clients and wants more ownership: bigger workstreams, more client contact, and a transparent path toward Consultant.

What You'll Do

- Own defined functional workstreams on Ivalua implementation and sustainment engagements
- Gather and document business requirements, then translate them into platform configuration based on the approved solution design
- Run system testing, work defects through to resolution, and support validation cycles ahead of go-live
- Support data migration and reporting work
- Spot gaps between what the business needs and what the platform does out of the box, and raise risks early




- Join client workshops and training sessions, and handle configuration requests and questions within your scope
- Produce documentation that holds up to project standards
- Contribute to effort estimates, scope definitions, SOW content, and the occasional solution demo when the sales team needs an SME
- Mentor junior analysts and share what's working across the delivery team

Qualifications

- Hands-on functional experience configuring and delivering Ivalua, ideally across more than one S2P module
- Experience owning a workstream on a source-to-pay implementation, from requirements through go-live
- Comfort in front of clients: running parts of workshops, answering configuration questions, supporting training
- Solid testing discipline, including test planning, defect triage, and validation
- Clear, organized written documentation
- Working knowledge of procurement and AP processes such as sourcing, contracts, procure-to-pay, and supplier management
- Consulting or client-services background preferred; you're used to utilization targets and delivering what was scoped
- Based in Canada or the US
