Prominent Homes is a family-owned residential homebuilder based in Calgary, Alberta, founded in 1990. We've grown from a small local builder into a company building 120+ homes a year across single-family, duplex, and townhome communities — with a clear plan to scale past 150+ homes next year. We're led by our second-generation President, Pal Shergill, who has spent 30+ years in every part of this business before taking the seat.

Decisions here are made close to the ground, hands-on, and accountable — not layered in bureaucracy.

Our current employee engagement score (eNPS) is 75+, a level most companies never get close to, and it's a company-wide goal every leader is accountable for.

The Opportunity

This is a fixed-term contract role (approximately 15 months) covering a maternity leave, with a target start date of November 1, 2026 (or as soon as the right person is available). You'll carry full day-to-day functional authority over our marketing function — managing our external marketing agency, tracking digital marketing cost and lead performance, and keeping our brand consistent everywhere a buyer encounters it.

Our marketing function is already built — a real agency partnership, real systems, a real brand. This is not a blank-page role. It's a role for someone who takes real pride in running a well-built system with discipline and keeping it performing at the level it's already at, not someone looking to rebuild or redirect it. And if it goes well and our growth stays on track, there's a genuine possibility of a second, permanent marketing seat opening up at the end of the term.

What You'll Do

- Serve as the primary link between our Sales team and our external marketing agency,



and own the day-to-day agency relationship — status calls, performance reviews, and a clear scorecard.
- Track and report cost per lead and digital marketing spend efficiency, feeding our Finance team's CAC calculation.
- Apply our brand standards consistently everywhere a buyer encounters us — communities, construction sites, showhomes, signage, and our office.
- Own website accuracy, inventory governance, and social media consistency across all active platforms.
- Coordinate showhome and community launch readiness, and own our referral and review-generation framework.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience with real agency-management responsibility — 7+ years preferred.
- Ideally some exposure to homebuilding, real estate, or another operationally-intensive industry.
- Comfort tracking digital lead performance, cost per lead, and marketing analytics.
- Strong brand instincts and an eye for consistency across physical and digital touchpoints.
- A team-oriented communicator who works naturally with Sales, Operations, and Customer Care.
- Comfortable with the terms of a fixed-length contract, though genuinely open to a long-term future at Prominent if the fit is right.
