As our tank cleaning operations continue to expand across Western Canada, we are seeking motivated Confined Space Entry / Tank Cleaning Technicians to join our field teams and support the execution of industrial tank and vessel cleaning projects.

Position Overview

The Confined Space Entry / Tank Cleaning Technician is a physically demanding field role responsible for supporting industrial tank cleaning operations in active operating facilities.

This position works as part of a specialized field crew performing confined space entry, sludge removal, high-pressure cleaning, and other industrial cleaning activities. Technicians work under the direction of Site Lead Hands and Project Supervisors to safely execute job plans and maintain high safety and performance standards.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-focused, and comfortable working in challenging industrial environments including confined spaces, tanks, and vessels.

Key Responsibilities

Support field crews performing industrial tank and vessel cleaning operations. Perform confined space entry work inside tanks, vessels, and industrial equipment

Assist with:

- Sludge removal and material handling
- Manual cleaning of tank floors and internal structures
- High-pressure water blasting operations
- Equipment setup and teardown

Follow all confined space entry procedures, safety protocols, and permit requirements..





Work closely with Site Lead Hands and Supervisors to execute job plans efficiently.

Maintain constant communication with attendants and rescue personnel during confined space operations.

Assist with cleaning equipment including:

- Vacuum trucks
- High-pressure water blasting equipment
- Pumps and hoses

Participate in:

- Job hazard assessments
- Toolbox talks and safety meetings

Maintain a clean and organized worksite while ensuring all work is performed safely and professionally.

Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience in industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, or heavy industrial labor is mandatory.

Comfortable working in:

- Confined spaces
- Industrial environments
- Physically demanding conditions

Ability to perform manual labor includes lifting, shoveling, pressure washing, and confined space work.

Strong safety mindset and willingness to follow procedures and instructions.

Ability to work long shifts and travel to job sites across Western Canada.

Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Valid driver's license is considered an asset.

Preferred Certifications

CSTS / CSO or equivalent
H2S Alive
First Aid / CPR
Confined Space Entry
Fall Protection

Additional industrial safety certifications are considered an asset.
