Responsibilities of a server

- provide guests with exceptional customer service, ensuring that they leave happier than when they arrived

- demonstrate knowledge of our menu, take orders efficiently, describe daily specials and upsell when appropriate
- conduct quality checks to ensure customer orders are accurate and presented according to standards
- follow Smartserve guidelines for responsible alcohol service
- must be team oriented and communicate well with other staff, including kitchen staff
- help maintain a safe, clean and organized restaurant

Responsibilities of a bartender

- in addition to the responsibilities of servers, bartenders must;
- Service drinks to the restaurant with attention to detail and consistency

- set up, take down and maintain cleanliness of the bar




- be knowledgable about the alcohol and beverages we serve
- ability to follow the recipes of beverages and prepare them accordingly

Experience & key attributes -

- minimum one year experience in serving or bartending
- ability to multitask and good time management skills
- ability to work in a quick-paced environment

- must be available to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities of line cooks

- memorizing recipes, policies, procedures and standard portion sizes

- Executing dishes according to Maverick’s standards

-maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe and organized workspace at all times
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- properly set up workstations and properly close at the end of the night

- must be flexible to work evenings and weekends

Experience
- serving: 1 year (required)
- bartending: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
