Overview

We are seeking Servers/Dining Room Attendants to become a vital part of our newly forming culinary team!

The Server / Dining Room Attendant provides warm, respectful and efficient dining service to residents and guests of Trinity Manor at Stonebridge. The role helps create a welcoming dining experience through attentive service, accurate meal and beverage delivery, professional presentation, cleanliness and positive interaction with residents.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare dining rooms and assigned service areas for meals, including table settings, service supplies and overall room readiness.
- Welcome residents and guests warmly and provide courteous, attentive and respectful service.
- Communicate menu choices clearly, take or confirm meal selections as required and ensure accurate delivery of meals and beverages.
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently while observing resident preferences, documented meal requirements and established service procedures.
- Provide beverage-alcohol service when assigned, in accordance with Serve It Right Saskatchewan requirements and Trinity Manor procedures.
- Communicate special requests, dietary concerns, meal changes or service issues promptly to the appropriate culinary or dining leader.
- Clear, clean, sanitize and reset tables and service areas between and after meal periods.
- Assist with beverage service, condiments, desserts, dining-room supplies and other service tasks as assigned.
- Plate meals when assigned and trained, in accordance with established food-service, portioning and presentation standards.




- Maintain professional dining-room presentation, cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
- Follow food-safety, hand-hygiene, infection-prevention, allergen-awareness and workplace-safety procedures.
- Treat residents with dignity and patience and provide appropriate assistance within the scope of the position.
- Observe and report resident concerns, changes in dining behaviour or service issues to the designated Lead Server or RSM.
- Support tray or alternate meal-service processes when assigned and according to established procedures.
- Assist with special events, celebrations, catering and resident functions.
- Work cooperatively with Lead Servers, other servers, culinary employees and other departments to support smooth meal service.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous restaurant, hospitality, seniors-living or customer-service experience is an asset; suitable candidates may be trained.
- Strong hospitality orientation with respectful, patient and qualified communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with seniors and respond calmly and courteously to resident requests.
- Ability to follow service procedures, food-safety requirements and documented resident meal instructions.
- Recognized food-safety training/certification is required or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
- Serve It Right Saskatchewan (SIRS) certification is required.
- Dependable attendance, teamwork, attention to detail and ability to work efficiently during meal periods.
- Satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector screening is required.
