Server / Host(ess) – Front of House

YOLKS Breakfast – Vaughan/Woodbridge, ON

YOLKS Breakfast is hiring experienced Servers and Hosts for our Vaughan/Woodbridge location. We’re building our opening team and looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy providing great service in a busy breakfast restaurant.

To be considered, applicants must have at least one year of restaurant front-of-house experience and be available for early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of restaurant serving, hosting or other front-of-house experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Available for early mornings, weekends and holidays
- For servers: Experience taking orders, serving guests and handling payments; Smart Serve certification required if serving alcohol

Responsibilities

Servers

- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Serve guests promptly and check on them throughout their visit
- Process payments and communicate guest requests to the kitchen




- Keep tables and service areas clean and organized

Hosts

- Welcome guests and manage the waitlist and seating flow
- Answer questions and assist guests as they arrive
- Coordinate with servers to keep service running smoothly
- Keep the entrance, host station and dining area tidy

All front-of-house team members will assist with opening, closing and general service duties as needed. Job type: Full-time and part-time positions available
