The Greek Kouzina Express is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and guest focused team members to join our growing team.

At The Greek Kouzina Express, hospitality is at the heart of what we do. We are a family run business rooted in Greek tradition, great food, and genuine hospitality.

Our open show kitchen creates a fast paced and energetic environment where front and back of house work closely together. We are looking for team members who enjoy working with people, take pride in their work, and are willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.

This is a hands on position combining guest service with kitchen support. You may be serving guests one moment and assisting with takeout orders, food preparation, cleaning, or restocking the next.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine Greek hospitality
- Take accurate dine in, takeout, and beverage orders using the Clover POS system
- Learn our menu and confidently make recommendations to guests
- Practice thoughtful suggestive selling and upselling
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Process cash and card transactions accurately
- Package takeout and delivery orders
- Assist with bussing tables and keeping the dining room clean and inviting
- Support the kitchen with basic food preparation and plating when required
- Wash dishes, restock supplies, and maintain clean service and kitchen areas
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy service periods
- Respond to guest questions or concerns in a friendly and professional manner
- Support our restaurant, catering, and food truck operations when required

What We Are Looking For

- Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is preferred
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with guests




- Reliable and able to arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts
- Able to multitask and remain organized in a fast paced workplace
- Comfortable working in both front of house and kitchen areas
- Willing to clean, restock, prepare food, and help wherever needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
- Experience with Clover, Aloha, Micros, or other POS systems is an asset
- Experience in cashiering, sales, retail, cafés, grocery stores, or hospitality environments is an asset

Availability Applicants must be available for a combination of afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

Weekend availability is important for this position.
