Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns swiftly
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or hospitality roles is advantageous
- Capable of working in a quick-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and guest focus
