Overview

Cochrane Automotive Repair is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing automotive repair shop in Edmonton.

You will be the main connection between our customers and technicians—helping customers understand their vehicle needs, preparing estimates, booking appointments, and following up on recommended repairs.

What you’ll do:

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Answer phone calls, texts, and online appointment requests
- Prepare estimates and explain repairs in clear, simple language
- Review digital vehicle inspections with customers
- Schedule appointments and coordinate work with technicians
- Follow up on declined or deferred work
- Invoice completed repairs and take payments
- Build long-term customer relationships and help grow shop sales

Duties

- Automotive service advisor experience is preferred
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Comfortable explaining vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Organized, reliable, and able to work in a busy shop environment
- Experience with AutoLeap or similar shop software is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence required

Experience

- Previous dealership experience or automotive service background highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of automotive repair processes




- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Experience in sales or upselling techniques that focus on customer satisfaction and value addition
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of automotive parts, repairs, and maintenance services is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: This is a commission-based position with strong earning potential. Compensation will be discussed based on experience, performance, customer service, and sales results.

Pay: $22.73-$44.41 per hour
